After lunch, the rain found us again and the radar was showing a line of storms right along the route I planned home. We needed an alternate route and our 1st Officer was on point with Calabash Creamery. We waited for the rain to die down and headed back to down HWY 90. We had to stop back in at the gas station we visited earlier so Mickey could retrieve his gloves. No more rain in site. Once we rolled in to the Creamery, everyone was off their bikes with a quickness and made their way inside for a sweet treat. A little goofing around with the Cow, we said our goodbyes and headed north to Wilmington.
179 Miles for day and mostly smiles even with the rain.
Thanks to everyone who came out and special thanks to the Professor for Tail Gunning.
Until the next ride
