We took the boring straight shot up 17 to 24. I had a reason with restaurant's only able to seat at half capacity, I wanted to beat the lunch crowd. We arrived at 11:15am. To my surprise, no one in the group had been to Saltwater Grill . Only one other group of people where there. Nice place, great view, good food. Everyone seemed full and pleased.
We took our time hoping the rain would go away but no chance. I looked at the radar and found some backroads and we went around the rain. I must say I enjoyed the roads.
We had a comfort stop in Hampstead by the Queen's old house, then saddled up and hit the throttle for the last stretch home to beat the rain. I stayed dry, hope everyone else did.
160 miles of fun. Thanks Road Queen for tailgunning.
Till next time Cruisers. Hope it's sooner than later.
