Great Ride yesterday to Brick Landing if I must say so myself!!
There was a total of 18 Bikes and 21 riders that managed to avoid scattered showers to arrive at Brick Landing Plantation in Ocean Isle. Upon leaving the Roo, the group meandered its way down Blue Clay and did our best to stay together onto MLK and over Isabella Holmes Bridge to 74. We safely negotiated the traffic and got off in Leland, regrouping all the riders to head down River Road/133.
We followed Daws Creek Rd/Funston to 87, Danford Rd., Benton Rd, Old Ocean Highway, US 17 and Stone Chimney to arrive at our first comfort stop on 211. From there we continued on Stone Chimney and 130 to eventually arrive at Brick Landing Plantation.
Brick Landing was wonderful! The service was great, the food was exceptional, and no complaints that I was aware of?!?! I personally very much enjoy this place...
After lunch we headed to Beach House Harley to look around. After Beach House, we lost several riders who chose to head back up US 17 to Wilmington. The remainder of the crew retraced our steps back to Wilmington via back roads.
Thanks to all that came out to enjoy the day! I hope that you were satisfied with my "Road Captaining" skills?!?! I will always strive to improve!
Sincerely, RePete
