We arrived at Capt. Archie’s around noon and were seated outside with a great view of the waterway. Service was awesome and most enjoyed their meals and Mary said her crab cakes were very good. Guess who we ran into at the restaurant? Darcy, The new 2nd Officer of the Myrtle Beach Southern Cruisers Riding Club #033. She is revitalizing the chapter and looking forward to planning some joint rides with Port City and other SCRC chapters in their area.
Leaving the restaurant we decided to have a quick gas stop then on to the Calabash Creamery where the favorite flavor of the day was Grandma’s Apple Pie. That is the one I ordered and it was delicious! Following the Creamery, we continued on our return trip back to Wilmywood with lots of smiles and miles for a fun filled day of riding.
Thanks to Travis “Professor” for doing an exceptional job as Tail Gunner, Bob “SeaMan” who was our center RC (monkey-in-the-middle LOL) and most importantly to all who joined us on our country ride!
Until we meet again…
