As promised backroads to Fayetteville. We had a comfort stop on 210 at the halfway point. I think everyone hit the John. We saddled back up and eased out of the new gravel. Red Lobster here we come.
We rolled in just after 12pm. Most everyone enjoyed the biscuits. Blackened catfish and shrimp scampi where the popular dishes for $9.99. Ok let's roll across the street to Cycle Gear.
They have it all! Plenty to look at a few things were bought. Unbelievably, rePete came out empty handed. I was shocked. We saddled up and headed out.
We did a little circle as I was looking for another backroad and missed it. Oh well ...next time. We hit 87 and headed home. Took a quick comfort stop at the halfway point said our good byes. South bound and down let's roll and we lost Grant . Charles on tailgunning duty found him. He thought he left his credit card. It happens.
We were off again. A few rain drops fall, so I crank on the throttle a little harder. We all make it back dry. Ditch wanted to get wet to make it 4 weeks in a row. He bought a new rain suit . Maybe next time Ditch. Curb and Charles found out there where some roads they had not been on .
Great day. Thanks for tailgunning Charles. 215 miles and a lot of smiles.
Till next time Cruisers. Hope it's sooner than later.
