Left the Roo at 9AM with 8 Bikes and 12 riders, heading South, to the Dead Dog Saloon in Murrells Inlet, SC, with Safety Cone as Tail Gunner.
Sped down Rt 17, with the usual comfort stop in Supply, then in Shallotte, we changed course, NW, onto some back roads, Old Shallotte Rd NW, then Rts 904 & 905 to Conway. Those are very nice roads for riding!!
Stopped in Conway for another comfort stop, then led the group down Main Street, then onto Rts 544, 707 and Bus 17 to the destination. FYI, there is a lot of construction on Rt 707, South of Socastee. I would avoid that area until it is completed.
After an excellent lunch, eating outside on the deck, with a great view of the waterway, we headed North to Jamin' Leather. Some of the group modeled some "interesting" clothing articles, which is always entertaining. After picture taking of some members in the "Electric Chair", we headed off again, North, to the next comfort stop, Tiger Mart, at the intersection of Rt 9 & 57, via Bypass Rt 31.
After saying our good byes, with good bye hugs, we all headed up Rt 57/Hickman Rd, then Rt 17 to our personal destinations. Total Distance was 225 miles.
Thank You, TJ for doing a great job as Tail Gunner and All of you for joining me in a great day of riding and socializing, in a friendly and fun manner. Much Appreciated.
Until next time. Ya'll be safe.
