stories from the road...
It was barley 40 degrees at 9 am when 9 bikes 10 riders rolled out of the Exxon on N. College Rd. We headed to New Bern Harley Davidson to join the Toy Run to the Kennedy Children's Home in Kinston. We took College to Market and followed HWY 17 north. Comfort stop on the far side of Jacksonville we arrived in New Bern around 11am. While lining up we were able to chat with some old friends and made some new ones. We ran into the Goldsboro chapter again. It was great to see them once again. It was a really nice ride. We hit an old favorite for Lunch, Morgan's for lunch. We rolled back into Wilmington just before dusk with 278 miles and a lot of smiles for the day . Special Thanks to Preacher for leading and I jumped in as Tailgunner.
