stories from the road...
To say that this morning was a bit brisk would be a sad understatement. It was down right cold, but we had 7 Cruisers come out for the ride. We met up at the BP since the Roo (we found out) is under remodel. The group rolled out of Wilmington and down 133 to HWY 210 and eventually turned off on Wild Cat. I found out later that neither Travis nor Charles had been all the way down it which is a plus for me. We stopped at Clear Run Farms on 421 for our comfort stop. Charles and Cap'n left the group and headed back to Wilmington while the rest of us continued north on HWY 421. After a couple of short back roads we arrived at the Meadow Restaurant. Everyone was hungry and just dived in, especially the desserts. Since it was still cold and our bellies full, we all decided to head home via I40. We stopped in Warsaw to top off and say our good byes. Overall, I have to say it was good ride.
