So off we went, 8 bikes and 12 Cruisers headed to Maysville to pick up Krista "Sparkles" and her friend Thom who were ready. Quick pick up and off we went with 10 bikes and 14 people rolling into New Bern. Going smooth till my left lane goes nowhere splitting the group for one car to go by and we are right back together. We roll into New Bern to Captain Ratty's and park almost in front of the restaurant. Great service and food with a wine and gift shop up stairs too.
We said our goodbyes to Paul and Pam Allen but before they left, the guest Thom decided to join the cruisers as a member. Paul you were right, he liked being at the ladies table. We all saddled up and headed to Maysville to have our comfort stop and say goodbye to Krista "Sparkles" and her friend Thom...soon to be a member. Now we are 7 and 11 (no not the convient store) rolling on back to Wilmington.
Well Pam and TJ know how I get on Sundays when all the fun is over so they have the ride end at there house for more fun...awesome! What a great weekend of fun for the 162. Great to see Pam and Paul Allen and ride with them part of the way home and thank you to all for making my Easter weekend so great. 211 miles if your counting. I'm counting a lot of smiles! Thank you TJ and Road Queen for tailguning and keeping the group together. Oh I almost forgot, Bob just for you leaving the restaurant I took us straight to a dead end but it had a large cul-de-sac to practice u turns...thank you very much and we came out and the draw bridge was up. Ok full report, till next time cruisers keep the shiny side up.
