Scotto, Ditch and I met at the Circle K around 9:45am. Pauly D stopped by to get gas in the truck and we chatted about last weekend's rides, Christmas shopping and the Cruiser Christmas party that was happened later that day.
We saddled up and took off out 117 to Burgaw. We weren't in the saddle long before we made a quick stop at Burgaw Antiques. I wanted some fudge... just had a hankerin'....I don't know. We perused the shop and then got back on the scoots.
I led Larry and Moe over to 53 and Stag Park to start to get some curves happening. We cranked it up a bit and enjoyed the scenery. This led us back out to 117 and we crossed over following Ashton Rd and Little Kelly Rd. back out to 210. Left turn and 210 down to 421.
Past Moore Creek Battle ground and a left turn on Canetuck. I love this road! We enjoyed the cruise and came down to the intersection of 11. We followed 11 to 87 and headed into Rieglewood for a nature call at the BP.
Our ride finished by hammering out Mt. Misery. (BTW: The new Scotchman on the intersection of Mt. Misery/87 is back open. BP won't be seeing us anymore.) We made out final approach to Round Bagels via 74/76, 421, Isabella Holmes, MLK , and S. Kerr.
Pulling in , we got all three bikes in one spot in front of the shop. It was very, very busy. We stood in line, took our time, and looked over the menu. Mike got the GodFather and Scotty got the Port City Club on a Pumpernickel bagel. I decide to keep it light with an Everything bagel with Kalamata Olive Cream Cheese. It took a bit to get our food, but we didn't care. We were chillin' and talking. No hurries. The sun was blaring at this point and we could have sat outside if we wanted.
After lunch, we said our goodbyes...Mike headed his way and Scotty and I headed south.
We ended the day with 118 miles. A little over predicted mileage, but no complaints. We stuck to the time schedule and had a great ride and a great lunch.
Thanks for following me today!
