There is no place I would have rather been than leading today's ride. 15 bikes 17 SOUTHERN CRUISERS and most wore their PORT CITY 162 shirts! Love those shirts! Also, Scott Thomas likes what he see's... he bought his wings today! I always keep one on hand (I learned that from Shorty). He also has expressed interest in being a Road Captain. Good deal!
Today's ride was Awesome! I've been saving some new back roads for today they were fun it turned 70 miles into 110. We had a comfort stop at the Lake Waccamaw Mini Mart. Then more back roads to Loris to SHORTY'S Grill.
They seated us right away. The food took a while, but I did not care. The FACE TIME is what it's about. Just to ride and have fun.
After lunch some went next door for ice cream. Time to saddle up and take it to the house. We took a direct route home 9 to Hickman to 17. Some broke off on 1-40, others followed me to the Harp to Remember a Legend, a mentor, a teacher, father, Husband, best friend, and so much more- RONNIE"SHORTY"BOSWELL. You are missed and never forgotten .
Thank you to Preacher for the tailgun and Curb for radio in the middle 196 miles of fun today .
Almost a year as First Officer. I love this club and the SCRC Family. Speaking of family...Mack Tart over in 5 Points - Thanks for all the help and advice. I think we are onto something. Sp!ke, I always remember to be Humble and Kind. IF YOU road today I would like a hello and tell me how you liked the ride. This is our chapter and it takes us all to KEEP it a "Premier Riding Club." We are on our way . JOHNSON CO WE ARE COMING FOR ROAD DOG.
