We took the usual roads over to 421, then north to Harrells for a quick rest stop, as we did not know if the lunch site had any accessible bathrooms.
We arrived around 11:15 and the line was already forming. Today's meats were ribs and pork BBQ. Pistol and I had the rib tray and the rest of the group had bbq sandwiches. Pistol said that it was some of the best ribs he has had "down here". The BBQ sandwich boys were struggling to finish their massive servings. The restaurant has a shady place out back with tables and a huge bar made out of a 56 Ford. Food was very reasonable - 3 ribs, 2 sides, cornbread and drink was $8; BBQ sandwich, side and drink was $6.50. Preacher asked where we were stopping for ice cream and we decided on the BP station next to Paul's Place.
We returned via 701 and 210 and enjoyed a scoop or two before departing for home.
121 miles for todays ride.
Thanks to Preacher for tail gunning.
